Georgina Escobar says the doctor’s diagnosis will affect her for the rest of her life.
It all started seven years ago, when Escobar was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, cervicalgia, osteoporosis and fibromyalgia, and received medications she never needed.
Throughout that time, she experienced symptoms of seizures that wore her body down and changed her appearance; also keeping her from walking.
“My hair started falling out. My teeth started falling out, as you can tell. I have about 90% of my teeth are gone, because of the toxic effects of the medication,” explained Escobar.
She says the seizures are expected to last the rest of her life.
