Former School Bus Driver Accused of Sexual Abuse Arraigned

EDINBURG – A former school bus driver who is accused of sexually assaulting students was in court Monday.
Jose Luis Garza says he was innocent on the accusations of him assaulting eight children.
He is facing three indictments with a combined 24 counts that include aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Garza’s attorney requested a bond reduction saying his family had already paid $15,000 in his previous arrests for related allegations.
The trial is now set for May 13.
