Dr. Michael Vickers runs one of the long-standing veterinarian clinics in Falfurrias and also owns land along Highway 281 – a corridor commonly known to carry people into the country illegally.
He formed a group that’s been patrolling the brush on local ranches for years.
He says the group has saved lives.
Vickers explains the group will begin patrolling the brush again this month.
