Hidalgo Co. Sheriff’s Searching for Missing 69-Year-Old

MISSION – The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man in his late 60s who is considered to be in danger.
Authorities said 69-year-old Librado Escalona was last seen at the Don Felipe Meat Market in Mission on North La Homa Road and Mile 5 Road around 11:40 Tuesday morning.
Officials said Escalona has grey hair and brown eyes; he is reportedly 5’5” tall and weighs about 175 pounds.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS was told he was last seen wearing a beige cowboy hat, beige shirt and blue jeans.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is leading this ongoing investigation they say is a welfare concern.
