Local Bus Driver to Undergo Additional Training following Incident

PROGRESO – A local school bus driver will undergo additional training before getting behind the wheel again, according to school district administrators.
The driver backed up into a ditch Tuesday morning while 10 students were on board.
A Progreso schools spokesperson says the incident happened at about 7 a.m. along Sky Solders Road and Military Highway 281.
No injuries were reported. The bus driver was cited.
