Local Rancher Struggles to Sell Land Near Border

MISSION – A local rancher says the political climate is making his land hard to sell.
Rancher and realtor Terry Urdal says property values are always changing along the border.
“I think the politics is scaring people and really fear is a factor in almost everything. If we just wake up and be normal people and get rid of this fear, then we are going to be fine,” says Urdal.
KRGV’s Christian Colón spoke with Rio Grande Valley broker Michael Blum.
Blum says it’s challenging trying to sell land by the river when location drives real estate decisions.
Urdal says he will keep an open mind and is willing to explore offers.
