Man Arrested After Allegedly Robbing Disabled Woman

BROWNSVILLE – Brownsville police have arrested a man they say robbed a woman in a wheelchair.
Officials say 30-year-old Rafael Carrasco was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and failure to identify.
The robbery happened on East 14th and Jefferson streets.
Officers responded to the scene where they found a woman lying in the middle of the road next to her motorized wheelchair.
The suspect allegedly pushed her down and took her purse.
