MISSION – A send-off fit for a hero.
The funeral of Cpl. Jose “Speedy” Espericueta was held Tuesday morning.
One by one his brothers and sisters in blue said their last goodbyes.
“I will miss him dearly. When God created him, he blended in the right mixture of humility and compassion; his qualities molded him into a true public servant,” said Chief Robert Dominguez.
Honor, dignity, respect and a sense of humor that would brighten any mood is how Espericueta will be remembered.
