Neighbors Speak Out following Raid of 3 Homes in McAllen

MCALLEN – Residents who live near the three homes raided by police on Friday are speaking out about the event.
McAllen police searched the homes located on the corner of South 25th Street and Lindberg Avenue.
The woman who lives between two of the targeted homes says she can’t believe the event happened.
Alicia Gonzalez says she never suspected her neighbors of illegal activity.
“Good neighbors to me, they aren’t mean; they never messed with me,” she says.
Gonzalez says she wasn’t home when the searches started, but is glad she missed the chaos.
The McAllen Police Department has yet to comment on why they searched the homes.
