Police Investigating Toddler’s Death in Rio Grande City

RIO GRANDE CITY – A toddler’s death is under investigation in Rio Grande City.
The city’s spokesperson told CHANNEL 5 NEWS the parents took the girl to the doctor after she fainted. They say she was suffering from a fever and vomiting.
Medical staff and first responders tried to resuscitate her, but were unable to.
She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police say they do not suspect foul play.
