Port Isabel Group Organizes Event in Remembrance of 9/11

WESLACO - A Valley native recalls the day nearly 3,000 people were killed in New York City.

She was supposed to be in town for her first day of work inside one of the Twin Towers.

A Mercedes woman says she was set to fly to New York City that very day before the towers came crashing down.

Elizabeth White cannot forget these memories even 18 years later, the day she was supposed to be inside the World Trade Center.
