SANTA ROSA - A property deed lost in the system and a Santa Rosa man wasn't getting any answers.
Without it, selling his property wouldn't be possible.
Roy Gonzales is paying taxes on his three Santa Rosa lots, but he had questions about one of them.
Gonzales says he's been trying to find the deed since March.
He tells us he bought the lot from the Santa Rosa School District.
We called into the Cameron County Appraisal District.
On Friday afternoon, chief appraiser Richard Molina sent us a statement, he was able to locate the deed.
