South Carolina Nat’l Guard Troops Heading to Border

WESLACO – National Guard troops from South Carolina are on their way to the Texas-Mexico border.

The troops will be bringing in a helicopter to aid in surveillance.

A spokesperson says the nine soldiers will arrive in Austin first before being assigned to a specific part of the border.
