Strong Winds Rip Apart Roof of Pharr Business

PHARR – A local business owner is cleaning up after strong winds blew the roof off part of his building.

Winds reached up to 50 miles per hour Wednesday night.

It ripped out a pole out of the ground and folded over the metal roof at D&M Cleaners.

A weather experts says the wind gusts that occurred were similar to a tropical storm.
