Suspects Caught on Camera Stealing Company Equipment in McAllen

MCALLEN – The McAllen Police Department needs the public's help finding the people seen on security video stealing thousands of dollars worth of equipment and driving off.
The warning signs, security cameras and a guard, none of it stopped Chano Gomez from losing more than $3,000 worth of his job equipment.
When Gomez checked his security cameras he could see a car drive up beside his white truck, then at least two people get out, grab the pump and the batteries before running back to their car and taking off.
According to the time stamp on the footage, this all happened in less than 40 seconds.
Now, Gomez is wondering how he's going to pay his company back. Employees are responsible for the work equipment provided to them.
