Willacy Co. Burn Ban in Effect Following Increase in Fires

RAYMONDVILLE – Willacy County commissioners approved of a burn ban after an increase in fires in the area.

The latest fire happened Tuesday night. Firefighters fought the blaze until early Wednesday morning.

Commissioners are urging residents not to burn trash at this time.
