Woman Who Escaped Back in Federal Custody

EDINBURG – A woman who escaped from federal custody two years ago is back behind bars.

Daisy Suzeth Gonzalez left a halfway house in Edinburg without permission in 2017.

Authorities say she had less than a year left on her sentence for drug-related charges.

She’s expected to be back in court next week and to be charged with escape.
