LOS FRESNOS - A bond of a million dollars has been set for a 23-year old woman from Los Fresnos involved in a fatal collision late last month.

Cassandra Ramirez was arrested Friday evening in connection with the March 29 accident.  She has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Investigators say Ramirez veered into the eastbound lanes of Highway 100 and hit a Cadillac SRX driving in the opposite direction. A 53-year old woman in the Cadillac from Austin was killed. 

Ramirez is now being held at the Cameron County Jail.
