Woman Charged for Downtown McAllen Aggravated Assault Case
UPDATE (6/4): The woman responsible for an aggravated assault over the weekend has been charged.
Police say America Karina Luevano of San Juan was arraigned for the offense.
Her bond has been set at $100,000.
MCALLEN – McAllen police are searching for a woman wanted for aggravated assault.
Officers are looking for 22-year-old America Karina Luevano.
A warrant for her arrest has been issued.
Police say the assault happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday on the 200 block of South 17th Street.
They say the female victim was seriously hurt and was transported to the hospital.
