Alamo, TX (KRGV) — The Maria del Pilar Garza Museum in Alamo is asking for help identifying players in a photo of the Wildcats, the city's former semi-professional baseball team.

The city posted the historic photo as museum staff work to learn more about the team and prepare a new exhibit honoring the Wildcats.

Anyone who recognizes a player in the photo or has additional historic pictures is encouraged to contact the museum at 956-961-4398.

“We want to make sure that we have the story right. We want to preserve the story, but we want to preserve the right story, and we want to give credit to the members of the team, and we want to honor them,” museum director Alejandro Oyoque said.
