Bond Paid for Former School Bus Driver in Sexual Abuse Investigation

WESLACO – A former Rio Grande Valley school bus driver is set to be released from custody after paying bond, according to records from the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office.

Jose Luis Garza was charged in May for alleged sexual abuse and indecency with five minors.

Garza bailed out of jail late May but was arrested a second time for additional charges against two other minors.

As of Tuesday morning, his $40,000 bond was paid.
