Brownsville, TX (KRGV) — The Brownsville Fire Department responded to a structure fire near the intersection of Cavazos Road and Camino de la Tierra Tuesday morning.

Crews arrived to find a three-car garage, shed and shop fully engulfed in flames.

The department responded with three attack units, one aerial unit, one heavy rescue unit, an EMS medic unit and multiple supervisors.

By approximately 9:15 a.m., crews declared the fire under control. Fire personnel remained on scene conducting overhaul operations and watching for any potential rekindle.

No injuries to fire personnel or occupants were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Brownsville Fire Department is asking the public to avoid the area near Cavazos Road and Camino de la Tierra while emergency personnel continue operations.
