Court rules to allow new DACA applications to be accepted

On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security announced that new applications for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will be accepted. 

The court ruling also restores the benefits under the program for two years, along with giving people have the right to file new applications for protection under the DACA program. 

The government is also required to contact everyone who is eligible to inform them of the change.
