MCALLEN – Hyundai Hope on Wheels celebrated its 20th anniversary of fighting pediatric cancer by presenting the Hyundai Impact Award.

On Wednesday, the organization presented the $100,000 Hyundai Impact Award to Vannie Cook Jr. Children’s Cancer and Hematology Clinic.

The clinic is one of 21 recipients of this year’s award, which is given to pediatric oncology departments at select children’s hospitals nationwide.

The clinic will use the funds to support the work of pediatric cancer research and programs.
