MCALLEN – An investigation is underway in McAllen after a fire broke out overnight.

McAllen Fire Department received a call around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire officials are still trying to figure out how exactly the fire started, but told CHANNEL 5 NEWS no one was injured. The house was vacant.

A woman living next door says it was a terrifying sight to come home and see the flames so close to her home.
