Man Arrested at Roma Port of Entry after Attempt to Hit CBP Officer
ROMA – A man was arrested at the Roma port of entry after nearly hitting a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer.
According to the federal complaint, the man refused to show proof of citizenship at the mid-bridge pre-inspection booth.
Verbal threats nearly turned into a physical altercation when the man attempted to punch one of the officers.
The man was in court Monday. A detention hearing is scheduled for later in the week.
