Ongoing Drug Investigations Lead to Two Arrests in Hidalgo County
ELSA- Two men were arrested in connection to two separate drug busts in Hidalgo County.
On Thursday, Elsa police arrested Manuel Guerrero after executing a warrant at a home on Crenshaw Avenue in Edcouch.
Inside the home, they found cocaine, marijuana, cash, scales, packaging material and a handgun.
Guerrero was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
His bond was set at $35,000.
On Friday, Alejandro Villalpando was arrested in Elsa after a warrant was served on West 7th Street.
Inside, Elsa police found cocaine.
Villalpando was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
His bond was set at $10,000.
