SAN JUAN – Overgrown grass at a cemetery upsets some residents.

Israel Guevara says his brother and uncle are buried at the San Juan Cemetery.

"This Saturday me and my mom went out to fix up my brother's grave. The grave site, and it's looking terrible out there. Like a jungle. There's weeds overgrown everywhere”, says Guevara.

We went to see the cemetery ourselves.

Some of the grass reached as high as three feet.

We tried to speak to the management of the San Juan Cemetery, to ask them why the grass is this tall, and what'll happen now.

A man who identified himself as a manager simply told us recent rains were to blame, and the grass will be cut.

He wouldn't say more.

"There's a lot of people who are disappointed who got people buried in that cemetery. Who go and look at it and see how it is. I'm pretty sure they feel the same way."
