Red Cross Announces More Popup Locations in the Valley

HARLINGEN – The American Red Cross announced further efforts to help those impacted by the recent floods.

They will be setting up multi-agency resource centers in La Feria, Sebastian and Elsa on different days.

People seeking help will need to provide identification to verify resident’s address in order to be eligible for assistance.

The following site will be open on certain days from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

July 10 – FEMA Community Safe Room on 1700 South Main Street in La Feria
July 11 – Life Tabernacle on 228 East Third Street in Sebastian
July 12 – IDEA Public School on 420 Fannin Street in Elsa

Volunteers will be on hand to assistance people with some supplies and casework.
