SAN JUAN – A state agency fined the city of San Juan for dumping trash in its brush site.  

The Texas Commission Environmental Quality will impose a $75,000 fine on the city.

Since then, the city had to drop off their overflow brush off in another town. The agency stated the site should have only been used for brush.

Both the city and the state agency agreed on the fine on Wednesday.
