MISSION – The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says a caliche pit in Mission has received nine complaints.

It’s located near Western and Abram roads.

Right now, investigators are working with the property owner to make sure there’s no threat to the public’s health.

TCEQ has been conducting air monitoring tests and so far all are negative.
