Edinburg Vela star Caidyn Hoover is turning heads again, this time earning the Dave Campbell's Texas Football 6A Player of the Week honor after a jaw-dropping performance against the Los Fresnos Falcons.

Hoover threw for 232 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 109 yards and two more scores in the win.

He also opened the game with a 59-yard pick-6 that set the tone from the very first play.

Last year, Hoover earned the Built Ford Tough 5A Player of the Week recognition and now he is making his mark at the 6A level.
