Voluntary Recall on Several H-E-B Bakery Products
WESLACO - H-E-B issued a voluntary recall for certain bakery products Thursday night.
Dawn Food products containing Valley Milk Products LLC’s High Heat Nonfat Dry Milk powder are being removed from shelves. The company said they’re concerned it could be contaminated with Salmonella.
The disease can be fatal for some people. So far, there have been no reports of illnesses in connection with bakery items purchased at H-E-B.
All products have been removed from shelves. The recalls affects product sold in H-E-B and Mi Tienda in-store bakeries in Texas and Mexico.
