COMBES – The town of Combes will be losing water service starting Thursday night.

Officials said water service will be out for city residents starting at 10 p.m.

The Texas Department of Transportation will shut down the water to relocate water lines at Templeton Avenue and Expressway 77 Frontage.

Water could be off for up to 8 hours. Officials are asking residents to plan ahead.

After water service returns, the town will be under a boil water notice until water is tested and found safe to drink.

If anyone has any information or questions, call Combes Public Works Department at (956) 423-2714.
