Man Charged with Murder after Roommate’s Body Found in Pharr Home
EDINBURG – A man arrested in connection with another man’s death is now charged with murder.
According to court documents, 27-year-old Gregory Alexander Ortega confessed to shooting his roommate, 32-year-old Arnulfo Gaitan, whose body was found last week in a home on Tulip Drive in Pharr.
Police say the victim’s mother and brother found his body inside a closet of the home with a gunshot wound to the head.
