TxDOT Diverting Traffic Due to Major Flooding on Hwy 281
NEAR LINN-SAN MANUEL – Texas Department of Transportation crews continue to clear floodwaters on Highway 281.
About six inches of rain fell in the Linn-San Manuel area for four hours this past weekend.
For now, they’ve placed water-filled barriers and are working to pump out excess water.
There is still water on the road on the southbound lanes of US 281. Levels are higher on the other side of the water-filled dam. pic.twitter.com/RFb4X5Yuxh— TxDOT Pharr District (@TxDOTPharr) September 19, 2018
