23-Year-Old in Custody following Deadly Shooting in McAllen
MCALLEN – A 23-year-old is in custody after allegedly shooting and killing a person in McAllen.
Police say the incident happened near the area of South 8th Street and Lindberg Avenue. Officers searched the area and arrested Vicente Coronado.
The weapon used in the crime was seized.
The victim was transported to the hospital and later died. Authorities are withholding their identity until they notify the next of kin.
