MCALLEN – A San Juan woman took an auto shop owner to court after not getting her car fixed.

Nearly two years after a judgement was signed granting her thousands of dollars, she still hasn't seen a dime.

According to Adalgisa Alanis, Speedy Transmissions in McAllen took her money, but didn't fix her car.

The judge ruled she was owed nearly $6,000, but things were just getting started.

"To our surprise they had stripped the car they stole the motor. The computer boxes. Everything out even the muffler and the tank," says Alanis.
