BROWNSVILLE – A transgender woman in Brownsville has been missing for five months.

Brownsville police spokesman J.J. Trevino said there haven’t been any new leads on 32-year-old Ramiro Avila's missing person case. 

Avila’s family continues their efforts by posting flyers in downtown Brownsville.
