Brownsville Teen Struck by Vehicle Recovering
BROWNSVILLE – A Brownsville student is recovering from injuries after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning in front of Vela Middle School.
Authorities said a 13-year-old girl was hit by a car and suffered lacerations to the wrist. The driver did stop and render aid.
The girl was then transported to Valley Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to Brownsville police spokesperson J.J. Trevino, the investigating officer is finishing the incident report. He said the driver could receive a citation.
