BROWNSVILLE – The Cameron County Health Department wants to hear from you if you have mosquitoes in your area.

Health department crews are capturing mosquitoes to test for diseases they might be carrying.

Mosquitoes in the Rio Grande Valley can spread Zika, dengue, chikungunya and among others.

Right now, there are no confirmed mosquito-related diseases in Cameron County.
