Cameron County confirmed on Tuesday two additional coronavirus-related deaths.

According to a release, the patients were a 55-year-old male and an 89-year-old female from the Veranda Nursing Home in Harlingen. Both individuals passed away at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen and both were previously reported cases.

This raises the number of coronavirus-related deaths in Cameron County to 9.

Cameron County also confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus. This raises the total number of cases to 321 in Cameron County.

The new cases include residents from Harlingen, Los Fresnos, Rio Hondo and San Benito.

Of the 321 cases, 127 individuals have recovered.
