Twenty-three years after killing and beheading his children, John Allen Rubio is set to be executed.

Rubio, a Brownsville native, spoke exclusively to Channel 5 News reporter Stefany Rosales to discuss the crime that shocked the entire Rio Grande Valley.

The exclusive interview with Rubio is all part of Echoes from Brownsville: The Rubio Murders, a Channel 5 News documentary that will air uninterrupted on Thursday, May 21, at 10:30 p.m.
