WESLACO – Unwanted medication along with vape pens and cartridges can be turned over to the feds this weekend.
Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
Drop off locations are available across the Rio Grande Valley; collection sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is the tenth year the Drug Enforcement Administration is putting together the event. It’s the first year they’re taking back vaping products.
The agency will not accept vape pens with lithium ion batteries.
