Edinburg Woman Charged for Killing Husband in Domestic Dispute
EDINBURG – An Edinburg woman is charged after a domestic dispute turned deadly.
On Sunday night at a home on Russell Road, police say 47-year-old Karla De Leon allegedly shot and killed her husband. She’s charged with murder.
“We arrived at the scene and discovered that the victim, the husband, the male identified as Hector De Leon had been shot in the head with a .357 revolver and had been deceased,” said Edinburg Police Chief Cesar Torres.
Torres says this is an isolated incident. They had no previous reports of domestic disturbances at the De Leon residence.
