WESLACO – Weslaco fire crews are trying to determine what sparked a fire inside an empty home.

The blaze broke out just before 10:00 Thursday night near the intersection of Second and Kansas. Fire crews managed to quickly put the flames out.

Authorities said no one lives in the home and no injuries were reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
