Four suspects charged with murder in connection with deadly San Juan stabbing
San Juan, TX (KRGV) — Four men now face murder charges in a San Juan stabbing and each has a bond of at least $2 million.
John Phuck Phan, Hector Jose Martinez Jr., Orlando Radaban Olaguer and Mario Alejandro Sanchez were arraigned on Oct. 5, and all four were charged with murder. Phan, Martinez and Olaguer each received a $2 million bond and Sanchez received a $2.1 million bond and an added charge of tampering with evidence.

The stabbing happened in the parking lot of a business plaza on Veterans Boulevard, where investigators say someone stabbed Eric Garcia multiple times. Investigators say the killing stemmed from an altercation.
Authorities detained two suspects in Hebbronville and two in Donna. The San Juan Police Department received assistance from the U.S. Border Patrol, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Texas Rangers in detaining the suspects.
