HARLINGEN - Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District is asking for winter coats and warm clothes for students in need.

Dr. Jose Luis Cavazos, the director of parent involvement with the district, said, "We have families coming in every day you'd be surprised, sometimes, there will be 2 to 3 during the morning and in the afternoon as well and they're needing clothes."

Belts, pants and shoes are also accepted.

The Clothing Closet is located at 310 North 13th Street.

Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday.
