Hidalgo County warns of impostors posing as CSA employees
EDINBURG – A warning is out after reports of unwanted visitors in Hidalgo County.
People pretending to be Hidalgo County employees are trying get homeowners to switch energy providers. The county says it’s not them.
There are imposters claiming to work for the Hidalgo County Community Service Agency. The office helps people with certain services at a reduced or no cost.
According to the county, its employees will not show up at a person’s home unless they notify the resident in advance.
