MISSION – The former mayor of Mission is suing the newly elected mayor.

In a lawsuit filed Wednesday, Beto Salinas challenges the results of the Mission runoff election held last month.

He alleges dozens of voters told him they were paid to vote. He says others never requested a ballot or never received one, but were listed as having voted.
